was proud to welcome NPR Foreign Correspondent Anne Garrels to Seattle
for a private lunch with the KPLU Leadership Circle, Thursday, March
3, 2005 at the Marriott Seatac Hotel. Ms. Garrels was in town for
an appearance at the Museum of Glass in Tacoma as part of the Pierce
College Puyallup Presents lecture series. She shared her experiences
as an NPR reporter in Iraq over the last two years with the captivated
KPLU audience, answered questions, and signed copies of her book,
Naked in Baghdad.
