The Travel Club recently returned from Denmark, where they
attended two Scandinavian Jazz Festivals, including the Copenhagen
Jazz Festival.

Blows Its Horn
KPLU
celebrated its 20th Anniversary of Jazz with 26 enthusiastic
"jazzoids"! And where did this happen? Where else but down
in New Orleans where jazz took root. We attended not only
the Jazz & Heritage Festival, but visited both Snug Harbor
(the city's version of Seattle's "Jazz Alley"), House of Blues
and spent an entire evening listening to great piano jazz
- everything from Marcia Ball to Dr. John and Jon Cleary.

Cuba
in Depth, with Paula Wissel, KPLU's Law and Justice Reporter,
as one participant stated "It was an incredible experience
for me . . . one that I will never forget. The experiences
we had were truly unique compared to the travel I have done
in other countries. . ."
